Whether you've attended church your whole life or never stepped foot in one before, we know it’s not easy visiting a church for the first time. Where do I go? Where should I park? How should I dress? How long does it last? What about my kids?
We want your first experience at The Lakewood Church of God to be relaxed, and for you and your family to enjoy the service. So, here is some information to help you know what to expect:
The Lakewood Church Family meets every Sunday at 9 A.M. and 11 A.M. and the service lasts approximately 1 ½ hours. We encourage you to arrive 10-15 minutes early, especially if you have young children. This will give you plenty of time to get your children checked into Lakewood Kid's Children's Ministry (11 A.M. Service ONLY) and for you to find a good seat in the sanctuary prior to the service starting.
Lakewood meets at 12637 Pony Lane, Hudson, FL 34669 just off of Hwy 52 and across from
Summertree and behind the Coast Dental on the north side of the road. It is helpful to remember that we are between Hicks Road and Moonlake Road. Locally this is known as “Lakewood Acres” (the community from which Lakewood derived its name).

If you have children ages birth through 5th grade, then one of our friendly hosts will show you to our Lakewood Kids Children's Ministry check-in area to the right of the sanctuary and welcome center.
You will receive a program on your way into the service. This program will include some announcements, important information, and a connection card, which you can turn in at either during the giving opportunity or at the end of the service.
And on your way in, if you have questions, just look for one of our courteous volunteers wearing the lanyards that say “Ask Me”! They’re easy to spot and always happy to help!
We care more about you than with what you wear, so the dress is always casual. At Lakewood, you will find many people wearing everyday clothes. Some will wear suits and some will be in jeans. Dress how you are most comfortable, and you will fit right in.
Our goal every Sunday is to teach the timeless truths of the Bible in a way that is engaging and applicable to your life. You will find that the messages are practical, easy to understand, and grounded in Scripture.

The music at Lakewood is always rockin’! Lakewood features a live band with electric guitar, bass, keyboard, and drums every week.
Lakewood offers a safe and exciting children’s program during the worship service for your children, birth to 5th grade. One of our fully-trained and background-checked Lakewood Kid's Team members will help you check your child in.
Lakewood Kids is staffed solely by members in good standing at Lakewood, who have been background checked and receive ongoing training to make your children’s experience the best it can be!
During Lakewood Kid's, your children will experience fun Bible lessons, activities and games to help them build a spiritual foundation. Simply stated: we want this to be the best hour of your child’s week!

At Lakewood, we have a great group of teens who meet together on Tuesday nights at 7:00 P.M. during the week. The rockin’ music, casual dress, and relaxed atmosphere during The Lakewood Sunday service makes for the perfect place for teens to worship God and grow in their faith. For this reason, we encourage all teens to participate and serve in the main Sunday service.
